This would require that levelling become easier so that an average game would end with level 70-80 heroes who have accumulated about half the available skills.Īll these changes would be best served to only effect skirmish maps.Make a backup copy of the files before proceeding. Heroes would need to be level 175 (10 skills, 4 Novice, 3 Expert, 2 Master plus 3 grand master) or level 210 if you allow all grand master skills. I also toyed with the idea of each proficiency having a different cost and opening up the (current) skill wheel (1 for Novice, 2 for Expert, 3 for Master and 5 for grand master) thinking this would allow heroes to differentiate themselves, but I think it would be too difficult to level up. This would increase the max level (all abilities taken level) by 32 levels to 117, it would also let you be more strategic about your level ups. What I propose is that all skills can be mastered (that fall within their current skill wheel) however for skills that you are not proficient you will have an increased cost.įor example, A hero who currently maxes out at Expert earth magic, he would now be able to learn Master Earth and it's skills at a cost of 3 skill points each and GrandMaster at 5 points. With this change it is possible you will see heroes claim all skills in their available skill wheel at level 85.

Version 1.7 will bring with it the removal of the level cap.
